Mainz 05 leaves nothing to chance with homegrown Maxim Dal. As the 05ers report, the U17 defender is extending the contract at Bruchweg until 2027. The new contract contains a license player connection, so it converts to a professional contract when it comes of age.

Dal is at home in the central defender position and brings along fantastic facilities. “Maxim is one of our top talents at the youth academy and has made impressive strides in his development over the past season”sports director Christian Heidel praises and adds: “We are very pleased that he sees Mainz 05 as the right place to lay the foundations for his future career.”
