A The party will take place in Parque da Cerca, occupying an area of about six hectares in the city centre, which the municipality is preparing to receive thousands of visitors during the three days of activities.
In 2022, around 130,000 people participated in the Festas da Cidade da Marinha Grande, which, according to the municipality, was the biggest event ever.
For this year, Marinha Grande announces a “diversified comprehensive program aimed at all age groups”, bringing together national artists and local groups, who will perform on the Cidade and Stephens stages.
The musical animation starts on the 2nd of June, with concerts by Who’s Bob? and Bishop. On June 3rd, the song is by Off the Record and Fernando Daniel. To close the Festas da Marinha Grande, the GNR will perform on June 4th, with the first part being in charge of the Sons de Cá project, which brings together more than a dozen singers and musicians from the region.
In addition to music, in Parque da Cerca there will be children’s and radical activities, handicraft, trade and business shows, areas of gastronomy, confectionery and liquors.
According to information released by the municipality, the main novelty of the parties will be an orbital tent in the gastronomy area, 130 meters long, which will house the Stephens Stage inside, in addition to the esplanade area.
