State Councilor Martina Rüscher speaks in the VOL.AT interview about her motorcycle accident, which has lifelong consequences.
How fate struck Martina Rüscher – that was revealed by the state councilor in the VOL.AT interview.
A concatenation of…
Martina Rüscher was born on July 25, 1972 in Innsbruck. But how did the Tyrolean come to the Ländle? In the beginning there was a chain of coincidences and a fateful stay in a Vorarlberg hospital.
acquaintance and births
Rüscher still associates two personal and formative experiences with the hospital in Dornbirn, as she reveals in the VOL.AT interview: “First of all, I met my husband here – as a physiotherapist – and I gave birth to all my three sons here. So that is of course something that has connected you for a lifetime.”
How it came about
But how did it happen? After a serious accident on the Bödele, she was taken to the hospital: “I collided head-on with another motorcycle and was taken to the Dornbirn hospital by the ambulance,” revealed Rüscher in an interview with Wann & Wo. There she finally met her husband Michael, who looked after her as a physiotherapist. A year later she moved to Andelsbuch in the Bregenzerwald for him. Then the wedding bells rang. In 2022 they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Accident with “lifelong consequences”
“I always say: I had a motorcycle accident with lifelong consequences,” says Rüscher today. Since the accident, the state councilor has been on two wheels, but only with the “Radl”, as she explains.
