2023 will be the third year in which Marvel Studios brings its series to Disney +. Two years ago, the path of WandaVision began, the first to be released, and now more stories from the house of ideas are coming to the streaming platform, while others will continue.

Then, We detail the series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU, for its acronym in English) that premiere in this new year. None have a confirmed exact date.

What If…? (Season 2) – Early 2023

New and weirder but fun episodes of the animated series What If…? They arrive at the beginning of the year. It is known that the first will focus on Captain Carter and screenwriter AC Bradley told EW that “going into the safe season we continue with the anthology format. They are going to be totally new stories, very funny, with new heroes”.

Secret Invasion – Spring 2023

Directed by Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim, the series will star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, who we saw associated with the Skrull in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Also, Ben Mendelsohn returns as Talos, but the most anticipated cast is the acclaimed actress Emilia Clarke, with an unconfirmed role.

The series will be based on the graphic novel Secret Invasion by Brian Michael Bendis, so it will reveal how this species filtered among humans in the nineties.

Echo – Summer 2023

Echo, directed by Sydney Freeland, Catriona McKenzie and written by Marion Dayre, is officially a Hawkeye spin-off, but it is also the opening for what will be the expected Daredevil: Born Again.

It is expected that the fiction that Alaqua Cox will star as Maya López, alias Echo, will have the two most important Daredevil characters as part of its cast: the protagonist Matt Murdock, in the skin of Charlie Cox, and the villain Wilson Fisk, better known as Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio.

Loki (Season 2) – Summer 2023

For the end of 2022, Disney shared a sneak peek at all of its releases for 2023, which includes footage from Loki season two. We see the god of deceit with Mobius, wearing gala costumes and accompanied by other Lokis. “A bit of an exaggeration, don’t you think?”, Mobius tells him.

Few details of its plot have been leaked, but the new batch of episodes, six in total, should give continuity to the first season and be related to what we see in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

X-Men 97 – Fall 2023

The mutants return in animated format to give a renewed continuity to the program that made the X-Men the most famous superhero group of the nineties.

Ironheart – Fall 2023

After his successful participation in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dominic Thorne returns as Riri Williams in Ironheart, a series in which he will star and which will tell the story of this young genius.

The cast is completed by Anthony Ramos, who is supposedly the villain, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich (the protagonist Han Solo) and Lyric Ross.

Chinaka Hodge, who wrote episodes of Snowpiercer and The Midnight Club, is the series’ showrunner. The Gailes sisters participated in the script, as they also did for She-Hulk. Samantha Bailey and Angela Barnes are the directors.

Ironheart will have more depth in a series that is being prepared on Disney + that will premiere in 2023.

Agatha Harkness: Coven of Chaos – Winter 2023

WandaVision will not have a second season, but it left us Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) as an interesting character for the future and with her own spin-off, Agatha Harkness: Coven of Chaos.

Hahn reprises his now starring role in a show produced and written by Jac Schaeffer. Emma Caulfield as Sarah Proctor and Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke with unconfirmed characters are part of the cast.

Regarding the plot, it should deepen the origin of this witch, her adventures after WandaVision and open the curtain of Vision Quest. Will Elizabeth Olsen appear as Wanda Maximoff?
