But meanwhile Mass Effect 4, players continue to enjoy the first trilogy, especially thanks to the remasters of the three episodes with Mass Effect Legendary Edition. One of them has made a surprising discovery. An easter egg never discovered after all its years, and yet stuck under everyone’s nose and from the start of the game in addition.
It’s actually a nod to the movie. Top Gunthe 1986 original and not its sequel Top Gun Maverickthe box of 2022. And this surprising easter egg comes from the introduction of Mass Effect 1 with a text on a black background which reproduces feature by feature the launch of the film worn by Tom Cruise.
The fan who made the discovery shared it on Twitter, and Casey Hudson, director of the first trilogy, commented on the tweet himself, saying that it was indeed a voluntary wink that no one knows. had yet discovered.
It’s not uncommon for secrets to fly under the radar for years before being exposed by a few crazy bargain hunters. But it is much rarer and above all surprising that these little easter eggs are ultimately so little hidden, which makes this story ultimately quite unusual.
