Eintracht Frankfurt’s new winter signing, Philipp Max, was determined to return to the Bundesliga. In an interview with ‘Sky’, the 29-year-old talks about his move: “I didn’t have to think long, I really wanted to do it. The longing, once you’ve played in the Bundesliga, is of course huge.” The left-back is on loan from PSV Eindhoven until the end of the season. For the connection, the parties agreed on a purchase obligation of a rumored two million euros.
Max says about the negotiations: “I am very grateful that those responsible in Eindhoven were so willing to talk.” He wants now “enjoy every second, every game”. The winger is impressed by the development of the club: “If you continue to work like this, then it will continue to be a successful time.” The Eagles are well on the way to playing internationally again next year. Next Tuesday (9 p.m.) you will meet the Italian leaders SSC Napoli in the Champions League.
