Lhe United States Athletics Federation (USATF) has just given its shortlist for the World Cup in Budapest and the most striking thing is that Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone failing to defend her 400 hurdles crownfocusing on the 400 meters.
McLaughlin hasn’t run a single 400 hurdle all season so the news is not entirely a surprise. The world record holder for the low hurdles has the best record of the season in the return to the track with 48.74mark achieved in the final of the Trials.
