Arsenal are pushing for a transfer from left winger Mykhaylo Mudryk (21). According to consistent media reports from the island, the Gunners have submitted a first official transfer offer to Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to ‘Telegraph’, the offer amounts to the equivalent of around 62 million euros including bonuses, ‘The Athletic’ mentions a base fee of 40 million euros and 25 million euros in possible additional payments. That shouldn’t be enough to convince the top Ukrainian club.
Donetsk wants more
Loud and self-confident, those responsible have hung huge price tags around their shooting star’s neck over the past few weeks. It should be 100 million euros, said sporting director Darijo Srna, for example: “Antony and Jack Grealish were so expensive and I don’t think Mudryk is any worse than them.”
For a transfer in winter there is “maybe a 50:50 chance”, says Managing Director Sergei Palkin. Mudryk’s contract runs long-term until 2026. In addition to Arsenal, other Premier League greats are on the eight-time Ukraine international. If the Londoners want the contract, they must improve their offer – as soon as possible.
