This month we saw the announcement of a new indie game with Soul Stalker, the new game from Radhood Games, previously known as Conradical Games. This new game is inspired by the successful Vampire Survivors and shows somewhat similar gameplay, although very different graphics and progression system.
For those unfamiliar with the studio, Radhood Games is the new studio from Conrad, who previously released The Outbound Ghost under the Conradical Games studio. However, Conrad had problems with the publisher of The Outbound Ghost and the version that made it to consoles is not the correct one, so they have been in legal disputes ever since.
It seems that legal disputes over The Outbound Ghost can go on for years, so Conrad decided to found a new studio to continue developing games in the meantime. The first project he has announced is Soul Stalker, which can already be added to our wishlist on Steam.
In Soul Stalker’s posts on social networks, Conrad has confirmed that this is not a sign of abandonment for The Outbound Ghost, as he clarifies that he intends to add everything he has promised to the game once the legal disputes are clarified. However, he is not able to give an estimated date for that, so in the meantime he asks for the support of his fans with his new game, Soul Stalker.
There is no doubt that Vampire Survivors was one of the best video games to arrive in 2022 and also one of the most addictive, so it will be interesting to see how Radhood Games reimagines the formula in Soul Talker, which just received a Steam demo. and is expected to hit the market sometime in 2023.
