Mexico makes history by winning its first Central American baseball gold medal

MEXICO CITY (proceso.com.mx).- The Mexican Baseball Team won the gold medal of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, despite the fact that the grand final against Cuba could not be played due to the conditions climate in San Salvador.

The Mexican ninth team won five of six duels in the regional tournament, therefore, they kept the gold medal, although the final could not be played due to the rain and could not be postponed because the Cuban players have scheduled their trips on the day in the morning.
