Miami Dade College celebrates Christmas with parade for children

MIAMI.- Tomorrow, December 9, the northern campus of Miami Dade College (MDC) will once again transform into a winter wonderland for its traditional Childrens Holiday at North event, beginning with the arrival of Santa Claus from the North Pole at 10:00 a.m.

The North Campus is committed to serving our community and bringing the magic of the New Year’s Eve holiday spirit through educational activities. Let’s get together, celebrate and create unforgettable memories during this holiday season, Fermn Vzquez, president of the north campus, said in a statement.

Children will also be able to participate in arts and crafts activities in the Santa Claus pavilion, learn about general well-being in the health pavilion and on the obstacle course.

Children’s Holiday at North can be enjoyed from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is free, but attendees are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy to give to children in need in the community.
