The first trailer of the video game Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) revolutionized the world of entertainment this week, after setting three Guinness records.
The next adventure in Vice City, a fictional city inspired by Miami, will showcase the story of its main characters, Lucia and Jason. It will be released in 2025, but its first trailer is breaking records mercilessly.
Guinness World Records indicated that the video game trailer is the one that accumulates the most likes on YouTube, with 8.9 million likes only in the first 24 hours.
On the same video platform, it accumulated 90,421,491 views in the first 24 hours of its premiere. It is also the most viewed non-music video, surpassing “Mr. Beast” which in August 2023 reached 59.4 million views on its first day.
The franchise Rockstar Gamesproducer of the game, has a long list of records established in its more than 10 years of founding.

GTA VI is one of the most anticipated video games in history. Rockstar Games had to advance the release of the trailer due to data leaks they had to face.
