For Microsoft, this expected movement must be a way of countering Google’s almost total monopoly on Internet research, by providing answers generated by artificial intelligence. In practice, an improved version of ChatGPT will be used to improve Bing.
Concretely, the idea is to have much more precise and detailed answers such as for example a vacation itinerary for a specific destination. The system developed for Microsoft has been dubbed Prometheus and will be “much more powerful” than ChatGPT.
