Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC and many of you are exploring the vastness of the world that the game offers. If the title offers successful graphics, remember that there are several substantial updates of the world that must be downloaded in order to further improve the quality of the cities and other points of interest of the main continents.
Called World Update, they can be retrieved directly from the game store and are completely free. Here we will explain which packs to select and how to download them.
How to download Microsoft Flight Simulator World Updates?
In order to download new game items, you need to go through its dedicated store. So there’s no need to look for something in the Microsoft Store or to follow the progress of downloads in the “My games and applications” tab as usual.
- When you are on the game’s main menu, go to the “shop” section
- Then go to the “World Update” tab
- Here you will have access to all available World Updates
- Click on the one you want to acquire then on “download”
You can then access the download manager from this page by pressing the “X” button on your controller. You will find a summary of the elements available or the progress of downloads. Since it may take some time for the game servers to upload, we advise you to launch them one at a time rather than in groups.
