Today Microsoft not only presented how the improved Bing search experience should look and work thanks to GPT support, but of course also gave an outlook on the completely renewed version of Microsoft Edge. That is mainly inspired by the new Bing experience, but gets a few more innovations. This includes an improved design, but also the two new features “Chat” and “Compose”. The latter function can be used to automatically conjure up cumbersome long articles in a short summary on the screen, which should contain as many important facts as possible.
You can also make requests that can help with content creation, such as asking for help updating the tone, format, and length of the post. According to Microsoft, Edge can recognize the website you are on and adapt accordingly. So surfing is becoming more and more of an AI experience, which is certainly more productive, but probably not more welcome for everyone.
