We no longer present the Microsoft Rewards program that we detailed to you last September in a complete file. For the start of 2023, the service is changing slightly with more points to recover each month.
Less equals more
The Rewards program set up by Microsoft in 2017 allows you to be rewarded by simply playing games on your Xbox. By collecting points, it is possible to participate in raffles, to buy gift cards valid on the Microsoft store or to exchange a hell of a lot of points for a controller or a headset.
It was a certain Daniel Martins, loyalty marketing manager at Xbox, who announced the news on his Twitter detailing the new features brought to Microsoft Rewards from the start of the year. Ended 1000 point rewards, maximum points will be capped at 500 points now.
Nevertheless, “the maximum number of points per user per month” will be slightly increased or at least equal to the current maximum amounts, which will allow more to be earned over an entire month.

One thing you’ll notice is that playing the amazing games on @XboxGamePass will reward you even more, so keep checking your weekly quests!
How do you like it so far?
Yes, the reward for completing quests has been increased from 1,000 to 500 points.
However, when redistributing points, we wanted the maximum number of points per user per month for quests to be the same or slightly higher.
So overall you will be able to earn (just a little) more points.
