The national deputy for Santa Fe, Roberto Mirabella, presented his book “Let’s Defend Santa Fe” at the Museum of the National Constitution in the capital of the province. The launch was attended by Governor Omar Perotti and more than 300 people, including officials from the provincial cabinet, businessmen, trade unionists, national and provincial legislators, mayors and community presidents, as well as the press and the general public. This is the first of a series of events that the deputy will hold throughout the province over the coming weeks.

“I toured the province a lot, I met a lot of people and I visited many institutions, clubs, companies; I spoke with many producers, leaders of my party and other political forces. It’s like Omar says, you can’t love what you don’t know and you can’t defend what you don’t love. I believe that this conviction must be held by all of us who, like me, represent Santa Fe”, stressed the legislator.

“We don’t need Buenos Aires to tell us what to do, or import recipes. We need to put Santa Fe first. The path is the one started by Omar Perotti, accompanying those who work, produce, invest, add value and create employment; carrying out an educational transformation and in public health, with infrastructure works in every corner of the province”, remarked the deputy.

For his part, Omar Perotti, author of the book’s prologue, pointed out that it is “a book to enrich us, because it demonstrates our potential.” “Let’s defend Santa Fe is the expression to continue building true federal development. I invite you to browse its pages, written with a strong political vocation and commitment to the province,” the governor remarked.

Likewise, the legislator emphasized the long road traveled with the current governor and the importance of continuing to deepen a development model focused on the interests and needs of the province. “Throughout this political journey together with Omar, we were always clear that Santa Fe was first. In everything we do, we have as a premise the defense of our land, our people, our institutions,” he said.

“When Omar was sworn in, he promised to integrate the province from north to south and from east to west. We watched with great pain, how in recent years many people had to emigrate from their towns due to lack of opportunities. I was recently in Los Amores, a 130-year-old town in the north that the paved road is just now reaching. That builds and generates roots and equalizes opportunities,” added the deputy.

“This path is the one we have to deepen, go further, move faster, correct mistakes and do things that could not be done in three years. But we don’t have to go back or change course. We have to build a strong Santa Fe project to continue defending Santa Fe”, concluded Mirabella.

Over the next few weeks, the legislator will present the book in towns in the 19 departments of the province.
