Modern Warfare III breaks records for the franchise

Activision recently announced that the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III broke records for the franchise.

In a post on the game’s official Twitter profile, the company thanked fans for their engagement, and highlighted that Modern Warfare III has performed historically in the two weeks since its release.

The game has so far recorded more hours played per player, compared to the previous two games in the recent trilogy Modern Warfare, including in campaign mode. Zombies mode was also notable in its popularity, and to celebrate the Activision informs that throughout the Thanksgiving long weekend, players will receive double XP.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S e PC.

For the first time in the franchise’s history, a vast amount of content from Modern Warfare II will be carried over or carried forward and will be available in the next title.
