Here she will find her final resting place, very close to her father: Lisa Marie Presley (54) is buried after her sudden death in a small private cemetery in the garden of the famous Graceland estate near Memphis (US state Tennessee).
The only child of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley († 42) died on Thursday after a cardiac arrest.

Her three daughters, including actress Riley Keough (33), cry for her. She confirmed that Lisa Marie should find her final resting place in the “Meditation Garden” in Graceland.
︎The Elvis daughter had long ago chosen the grave site. In an interview she once said: “All the graves are in a row – and one place is reserved for me.”

Elvis Presley was After his death from drug abuse in 1977, he was initially buried next to his mother Gladys in Forest Hill Cemetery. His father Vernon, however, had the two coffins moved to Graceland – fearing the “King’s” body would be kidnapped by crazed fans, he said “Express”.
It was the birth of the Presley family private cemetery. Vernon was buried there in 1979, followed by Elvis’ grandmother Minnie Mae a year later. And then, many decades later, very tragically: Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin Keough. The 27-year-old took his own life in 2020.
His mother never got over her son’s death – the final downward spiral in her life had begun. Soon she will find her last resting place next to him.

Even if it’s not very private there: Elvis’ grave right next to the swimming pool is always the last stop on visitor tours through one of the most famous places in music history.
Lisa Marie dreaded the gravesites, as one of her songs states: “Somebody turned off the lights in Memphis. That’s where my family is buried and gone. The last time I was there, I noticed a seat to their left, in the fucking back lawn.”
She later put it bluntly: “How many people have a family grave behind their house? How many people want to be reminded of their fate, their mortality, every damn day?”
It is not yet clear when the funeral service and burial will take place. According to BILD information, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has already created a case number. However, it remained unclear if and when an autopsy would be carried out. There was no further information about the cause of death.
Lisa Marie Presley was found dead by a cleaner Thursday in the bedroom of her Calabasas home that she shared with her ex-husband Danny Keough, 58. Emergency services were called at 10:37 a.m.

Keough, who had just arrived, began attempting post-cardiac resuscitation. On the way to the hospital, Lisa Marie had a pulse again, but died hours later in the intensive care unit at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, 77, said: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away.”
