Mexico City.- The coordinator of the Morena bench in the Senate, Ricardo Monreal, launched his support network to promote his presidential aspiration as one of Morena’s ‘corcholatas’.
“We are going to fight, because we want to win the good one within Morena. We are not going to confront anyone,” said the Morenista senator during the protest of his collaborators.
It was reported that there will be at least 2,000 political operators who will publicize Monreal’s political project through the “Reconciliation for Mexico” project.
It is a structure with which the senator assures that his electoral presence in the 32 entities of the country will be strengthened.
Last Thursday, Monreal gave the flag at an event in Mexico City, where he asked his coordinators to avoid confronting President López Obrador with his coordinators.
“We have respect for President López Obrador, the idea and the indication for our entire organization is not to confront the President,” he said.
“Let us respect it and let us walk in search of deepening the country’s democratic path,” he requested.
The meeting was attended by the National Coordinator of Reconciliation for Mexico, Néstor Núñez, as well as Alejandro Rojas Díaz Durán, substitute for Monreal Ávila in the Senate.
“Once the law allows us, we are going to go to all the States, I want to go to all the States, to the Municipalities, and you are my eyes, my face, my representation,” Monreal said.
In addition to Monreal, the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum; Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, and also the head of the Ministry of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández.
