Mexico City.- The coordinator of the Morena senators, Ricardo Monreal, warned that there is arrogance in his party and that the division in Coahuila will make it difficult for the entity to win.
He pointed out that Morena resolved the internal election in the State of Mexico well, with Delfina Gómez as a candidate, but in Coahuila unity with PT or PVEM was not achieved when Armando Guadiana was elected, something that led to an internal fracture with Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, the other applicant.
“The elections in the State of Mexico and Coahuila will be contested. Excess confidence turned into arrogance is not a good start.
“Morena resolved well for the Mexican entity, in the northern state the PT and the PVEM are essential to succeed. Unity is key,” Monreal said on social networks.
Yesterday it was formalized that Mejía Berdeja will be the candidate of the PT in Coahuila, after resigning from the federal Undersecretary of Public Security, and that the PVEM will nominate the former deputy of the PAN, Lenin Pérez.
