EHC Eurojobs Montafon took two important points in the playoff race against EHC Hard. Dominik Rauter converts the decisive penalty.
Montafon easily keeps up with the title aspirant EHC Hard and takes a 3:2 lead at the break. In the second third, the guests from Hard pull away to 3:4 before Pavel Kinzel equalizes for Montafon to 4:4. The final third has it all. Big chances here and there, but nothing countable. Hard creates the 4:5 lead shortly before the end. But the match is still on. Montafon bravely fights for the equalizer and is shortly afterwards rewarded with the 5:5. Montafon wins 6:5 in the penalty shootout.
