Montes de Oca stays, false that he is going to leave the FGE, they confirm

The Coordinator of the State Security and Justice Cabinet, Jose de la Penaasked public opinion to ignore the statements indicating that Attorney General Óscar Montes de Oca will leave office in the coming days, since these are totally false.

In this regard, he asserted that Montes de Oca continues to lead the FGE Quintana Roo and assured that the rumors that he (José de la Peña) would do an internship at the institution are also false.

He added that this is a weekend of rumors, so he called to ignore them. “Oscar is still in his position and carrying out operations against criminals, as has been constantly published”, he pointed out.

Finally, De la Peña added that both he and the Attorney General are on the same page with the Governor Mara Lezama on the issue of security and administration of justice, so rumors should not be taken into account.
