Chihuahua.- Deputies from the parliamentary faction of Morena protested the conditions of public transport in Juárez and the historical lack of compliance of the concessionaires in terms of the physical condition of the trucks and quality of service, especially because they were granted the conditions of the fare increase.

The legislators took the rostrum with banners that contained legends such as “Old trucks, long waits and expensive fees”, “We demand public investment in transport” and “The increase in transport is a blow to the family economy”.

In the voice of the deputy María Antonieta Pérez, a proposal was presented for the General Secretariat of Government to present the technical studies that support the increase in public transport in Juárez and Chihuahua.

Pérez Reyes assured that in six months the Juárez dealers will not even be able to renew the junk units that are in circulation despite being more than 14 years old, and showed a series of images of these vehicles, considering their use, a sample of contempt for people

The legislator emphasized that full coverage of routes and schedules in District 10 of Juárez and Valle de Juárez would not be achieved in six months either. The issue generated debate between the benches of Morena and the PAN.
