French driver Fabio Quartararo sees his competitors slipping away from the world championship standings after falling short of the points in the sprint race on Saturday.

Double podium for KTM riders in the sprint race. For the fourth round of the 2023 season, the MotoGP world championship returned to Europe, on the Jérez track, on Saturday April 29, after Argentina and the United States. The race was marked by a red flag after a rocky start, marked by a series of crashes. Brad Binder (KTM) won for the second time after his success in Argentina. The podium is completed by Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Jack Miller (KTM).

Frenchman Fabio Quartararo, who started in 16th position – his worst result in MotoGP qualifying – suffered the red flag, he who had climbed to seventh place.
