Sophisticated in the morning, party techno in the evening.
This is the world of Scooter singers HP Baxxter (58). In the new cinema documentary “FCK 2020”, the world star shows his private side and opens his house in Hamburg’s Duvenstedt district.
Hans Peter Geerdes, as the musician is called, had only done this once before: in 2017 for BILD.
This is how a world star lives: HP Baxxter’s villa in Hamburg can be seen in the cinema documentary “FCK 2020”. In front of it one of his vintage cars
In the white, 400 square meter villa from 1902 there is a lot of old, heavy leather furniture. Gold-framed oil paintings hang on the walls.
Baxxter loves his house. He to BILD: “I’ve been setting things up since 1998”
For Baxxter, it’s the desired antithesis to his wild life as a musician. “I live like an English landlord,” he says.
“It’s kind of an ideal world. When people are weird again, I have a haven of peace at home.”
The living room is furnished like an English country house
In the kitchen, Baxxter sometimes cooks himself. “I’d be happy to.”
When concerts weren’t possible during the pandemic, Baxxter renovated his gem. “I made a real sweep. From the guest toilet to the wall colour.”
And: “I changed all the carpets. I love antique Persian carpets. My new friend: the carpet dealer!”
HP Baxxter is known for his powerful shows with scooter
Baxxter visits mother Ellen (80) in the film. “We have a very close relationship. But she scolds me sometimes.”
