The course for a future without snow was set in Winterberg 20 years ago. It’s been so long since that Bikepark Winterberg the summer use of two ski lifts on the 776 meter high cap began. Since then, mountain bikers have been coming from all over NRW to race down eleven routes. It gets particularly crowded every year when the iXS Dirt Masters, according to the organizers, Europe’s largest gravity event takes place – on the Ascension Day weekend it’s that time again.

Gravity means gravity – in mountain biking, this refers to those disciplines in which the basic force accelerates the cracks – in short: it goes downhill quickly. Test new bikes on site
In addition to the competitions, a large expo area attracts visitors to the Dirt Masters. All the big brands in the mountain bike scene are represented here to present the latest models and accessories. There is the opportunity to test new bikes on site. But it’s also worth bringing your own bike with you, as many sections of the park are open regularly.
DJs play in the “Music Masters Area”.
The first three days are concluded with an after-show party. The biathlon stadium will be turned into a “Music Masters Area” where DJs will play. After all, the MTB scene also knows something about partying.
