Before favorite Julian Nagelsmann can be introduced as the new coach of Tottenham Hotspur, the English want to fill another position first. According to ‘Mirror’ information, the search for a replacement for Fabio Paratici is a top priority. The English daily newspaper names Rui Pedro Braz, currently sporting director at Benfica Lisbon, as a candidate.

Paratici has been banned for a long time by FIFA for offenses from his time at Juventus Turin. So far, Spurs have not been able to fill the position. Ultimately, the new sports director should help hire the next head coach. The first official act could therefore be transfer negotiations with FC Bayern. Nagelsmann is still under contract with the record champions despite being on leave.
