On February 18th, the indoor archery championships took place in Lustenau.

The participation of the Archery Club Bludenz at the State Championships WA Inndoor. In the winter months, archery takes place in various halls across the country. As a result, there are also championships in the hall where you shoot at a distance of 18m.

The Bludenz archery club had 20 members, led by chairman Alexander Pastela, at this event in the gymnasium of the Lustenau grammar school and was also very successful in the competitions. The ages of the members of BSC Bludenz ranged from 8 to 64 years. The opportunity to practice competitive sports from childhood to old age gives archery a special touch.

Three golds, four silvers as well as two bronze medals graced the successful athletes at the award ceremony. It was the first national championship in the hall in three years since the pandemic-related break and the participants were accordingly motivated. We are pleased that this event, which before Corona was a fixed point in the annual course of archery in Vorarlberg, is now being resumed and continued.

If you are interested in archery in all its facets, you are welcome to attend a taster course at BSC Bludenz. Information on this can be found at www.bsc-bludenz.at on our homepage.
