The Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, through the National Highway Administration, established for the June 7 the new tender for the resurfacing of National Route No. 33between km 754 and 768, a sector that includes the towns of Zavalla and Pujato.

The definitive improvement works of these fourteen kilometers will have a reference amount for their quotation close to $1,350 million, with patching, milling and complete resurfacing tasks, including the interchange at the junction of RN 33 with RN A012. Likewise, the interventions include urban crossings in Zavalla and Pujato. The entire route will be completed with the underpinning and compaction of shoulders, together with the horizontal demarcation of the border lines and axis of the route, among other actions. The virtual opening of offers will be carried out through the public access online system www.contratar.gob.ar.

It is worth mentioning that this instance was reached after the awarding of the previous tender carried out in October 2021 failed, and that for various reasons unrelated to Vialidad Nacional it was not possible to sign the contract with any of the three bidders who in their moment the works were quoted. Faced with this difficulty, and to remedy the need for maintenance of the stretch even up to Casilda, National Highway contracted a patching service that has already recovered passability in the area. Likewise, the definitive repairs, with the complete resurfacing of the sector between Zavalla and Pujato, will be carried out within the framework of this new tender, with an execution period of eight months.
