Netflix is in the process of ending account sharing between subscribers, and this apparently coincides with the simultaneous introduction of more features to its Premium tier, which already boasts 4K resolution.
In a blog posts present them now Netflix Spatial Audiowhich is a kind of enveloping surround in the style of what Dolby offers:
“Netflix spatial audio brings an immersive, cinematic sound experience on any device with no additional equipment required — and now it’s available on more than 700 of our top watched titles, including Stranger Things, The Watcher, Wednesday, and Knives Out: Glass Onion. “
You will be able to find Spatial Audio content using a special icon, and a small introduction to the feature can be found below. They also increase the number of devices that can download programs offline from four to six.
