If there is indeed an episode of season 6 of Black Mirror who made the buzz, it’s obviously Joan Is Awful. It featured Annie Murphy (of Schitt’s Creek) play this famous Joan whose (questionable) private life was being streamed around the world in a new daily drama, with Salma Hayek as Joan! The platform broadcasting this new hyper-realistic show was called Streamberryun clone de Netflix.
And the network decided to have a little fun by launching a “real” portal Streamberry. You can now go to YouAreAwful.com. The site will offer you to provide your name and a photo in order to generate your own page Streamberryheadlining the new series in which you are the hero: (You) is Awful!
Obviously, this time, Salma Hayek (or any other famous actor) won’t be playing you. But it will give you a funny thing to share with your friends.
