CDMX.- Netflix will debut its live streaming service with a Chris Rock comedy show, titled Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, which will launch on March 4.
etflix released the first trailer to promote the premiere of their show, which shows Chris Rock backstage before the event.
In November Rock was announced as the host of this live event, who in 2018 had already collaborated with Netflix in 2018 with Tamborine, also appeared with Dave Chappelle on Netflix is a Joke.
Chris Rock has been on his “Ego Death” tour during these months with a high percentage of sales, which is believed to be the result of his confrontation with Will Smith at the last Oscar Awards ceremony.
Netflix has begun an expansion strategy in its services to face competition in streaming services. It introduced ad-enabled payment method, which is cheaper than its other subscription offerings, added games to its platform, and will now launch live streaming.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the platform was preparing to offer live programming, a service that Disney+ and Prime Video already have.
Chris Rock’s comedy show will hit Netflix on March 4 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time and will be filmed in Baltimore.
