Gonnet and Tolosa spent a Sunday to be forgotten due to problems with the water service on another day with high temperatures, above 30 degrees.
Neighbors of the area of 28 between 491 and 493, contacted this newspaper to report on the desperate situation they have been living for more than a week, where they do not have a drop of water in their homes. Yesterday the problem worsened due to the lack of essential services and another day with intense heat.
“We have 7 claims made. From Aguas Bonaerenses they first said that they were making arrangements. Then it was going to normalize. And then they said that it was solved, but there is no water, it’s a lie”, pointed out users affected by this serious inconvenience.
It should be noted that from Aguas Bonaerenses it was reported that a new repair work will be carried out today in the North aqueduct.
ABSA reported that today the repair of the North Aqueduct will be carried out, in its section on Calle 2 between 489 and 490, in Gonnet.
The fault was detected yesterday, so “operational personnel fenced off the place to secure the position and scheduled the intervention to be carried out tomorrow, Monday. Until the completion of the work, the pressure in the Villa Castells and Gonnet neighborhoods may be affected,” the company warned.
Faced with this situation, users were asked to make water reserves within their reach and avoid any non-priority use of network water, arranging for its consumption for hydration and essential household chores. Once the service is restored, turbidity could be registered, it is recommended to let the water run until it recovers its usual appearance, the company advised.

Meanwhile, residents of a large sector of Tolosa complained yesterday about the lack of water in different sectors of the town.
Users from 1 between 520 and 526, 11 and 518, 524 and 6, 118 and 524, and 532 from 1 to 7, stated that they went through Sunday without a drop of water.
From the Tolosa Neighborhood Assembly they made claims before the company, the Water Authority and the Ombudsman’s Office.
