On average, a million people turn on “Storm of Love” every day. They can look forward to a new face soon. The “Fürstenhof” gets a new housekeeper.
“Storm of Love” has been flickering across screens for almost 20 years. The first episode of the ARD telenovela ran in 2005, at that time starring Henriette Richter-Röhl. Over the years, new actors kept coming to the “Fürstenhof”.
In a few weeks, viewers can expect another new face: Dionne Wudu joins “Storm of Love”. As the broadcaster announced, the musical actress will take on the role of housekeeper Nicole Alves and is expected to be seen from June 28th.
New housekeeper at the “Fürstenhof”
Who is Nicole Alves? She is the Schwarzbachs’ former housekeeper and has known Eleni and Noah since they were little. She and Alexandra haven’t been in contact for a long time – but when a position as a housekeeper becomes available at the “Fürstenhof”, Alexandra doesn’t hesitate for long.
To listen to the offer, Nicole comes to the “Fürstenhof”. When Robert gets wind that the two women are old acquaintances, he is not very enthusiastic. But he soon realizes that Nicole is anything but Alexandra’s puppet and stands up for herself and her dreams. “But he’s not the only one…”, announces the ARD further. The role is described as “loyal, warm, helpful”.
Dionne Wudu studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She then blossomed into a musical star. She acted in numerous major musical productions such as “Sister Act”, “Ragtime” and “Buddy Holly”. Only recently she was on stage for “Chicago” in the role of Mama Morton at the Staatstheater Bonn.
She was “incredibly grateful for this experience” on “Storm of Love”. She reveals about her role: “Nicole Alves is very sincere, helpful and emphatic. Because of her nature, however, she often finds it very difficult to say ‘no’. That’s why she faces many challenges at the Fürstenhof.”
