Not every Nintendo Switch gamer may know this, but for a while now Big N has been allowing some of them to try out new titles every month for free.
Like every month, except in exceptional cases, Nintendo Switch players can discover a new game for a limited time. For that of January 2023, the Japanese publisher has decided to offer a new free game ideal for evenings with friends or family.
A new free Nintendo Switch Online game
The routine continues in 2023. Nintendo regularly highlights popular games, sometimes unknown to the general public thanks to its “Game on trial”. As its name suggests, it allows you to test a game for free, but only for a given period. Last year, the Japanese firm had bet on big titles including Monster Hunter Rise, Pokkén Tournament DX or Mario + Rabbids. In January 2023, Nintendo Switch players will therefore be able to try a new game that is less imposing, but just as pleasant: UNO.
The famous +4 card game that can ruin years of friendship is back in a video game from Ubisoft. Unsurprisingly, this title takes all the basic game concepts by adapting them to the Nintendo Switch. The goal remains to be the first to get rid of all his cards by using and abusing the penalties to inflict on his opponents. This version nevertheless offers some original features, including the possibility of customizing its games with a range of unique variants, allowing you to add a new dose of challenge and new attribute conditions. This free Nintendo Switch game is obviously playable online, but also in coop up to 4 via as many consoles. Attention, however it is subject to conditions, not everyone will be able to take advantage of this trial.
From January 19 to 26, 2023, only Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to play UNO for free. As usual, they will have access to the entire game and its content for over a week without any restrictions. Enough to allow players to discover this title and possibly crack later thanks to a reduction offered on the game at the same time.
