After having formed an alliance with Black Drakkar Games to launch the sci-fi thriller Fort Solis this summer, the publisher Dear Villagers immerses us in the dark-hued atmospheres of Nocturnal, the new scrolling adventure that the Sunnyside Games team intends to market in mid-2023 on PC and consoles.
Nocturnal tells the story of Ardeshir, a soldier of the Perpetual Flame that, after returning to his native island Nahran, he will find it shrouded in an unusual fog that will not allow him to be reunited with his loved ones.
The only hope of survival for him and the inhabitants of Nahran will be represented by the use of the ‘incendiary’ skills acquired by Ardeshir in his long years of training. The adept of the Perpetual Flame that we will interpret will therefore have the opportunity to manipulate fire and the arcane essence that feeds itgranting powerful abilities to the equipment used in battle and the tools used to solve environmental puzzles.
The ancestral fire that we will tame during the adventure will help us repel the mist, access the more advanced areas of the map and incinerate the creatures that lurk in the dark and they multiply drawing strength from the terror aroused in men by the poisonous fog that dominates the landscape.
