THE HMD Global announced a new entry-level smartphone: the Nokia C12. This model, which arrives as a successor to the Nokia C10released in 2021, delivers basic specs aimed at consumers who don’t want (or can’t) spend a lot, including a lighter version of Android, simple camera and a modest polycarbonate finish.
What does the Nokia C12 offer?
THE Nokia C12 It features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). Still on the front, we have a small drop-shaped notch that houses a dedicated 5-megapixel selfie camera.
inside, the HMD Global inserted a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core 1.6 GHz processor, combined with 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. This is an entry-level chipset, so customers shouldn’t expect amazing performance.
The company also skimped on the camera department: there’s just a single sensor on the 8-megapixel rear, which offers portrait and night mode capabilities to improve the quality of photos in darker environments.
The on-board battery adds up to 3,000 mAh with 5-watt charging. Other features of the device include: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack and microUSB port. In software, Android 12 Go Edition is factory installed.
