It has been a tradition for many years that the day before the glamorous Oscars, the less popular trophies of the Golden Raspberry to filmmakers and actors for their performances. The Negative Prize will be awarded on March 11, 2023 for the 43rd time. In most cases, of course, the Hollywood starlets are not personally present. The headlines in the press are there anyway. And now the nominees for the coming ones are also up “Razzie Awards 2023” Celebration!
Marvel flop among the favorites
It shouldn’t come as a big surprise, though Morbid – the Marvel film adaptation by Sony – has been nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award in several categories. The film could soon be awarded a total of five prizes. Including the main prize as worst movie of the year. Jared Leto and Daniel Espinosa are also in the final selection for the award as leading actors and directors. Morbius isn’t that though top favourite at night.
Who gets a Golden Raspberry?
The real winner of the evening could be Netflix. The streaming provider has with blonde published an adaptation of the novel of the same name, which was based on a fictional life of Marilyn Monroe. Equals eight times the film has been nominated. However, leading actress Ana de Armas is not one of them. Good morning (7x nominated) and Disney’s Pinocchio (6x nominated) round off the golden raspberry podium.
Multiple awards for Tom Hanks?
Especially for tom hanks the evening before the Oscars could become something to forget. he is for three awards nominated in two different films. Worst Actor in Disney’s Pinocchio, Worst Supporting Actor in Elvis, and Worst Screen Couple – along with his “Latex-Loaded Face (And That Ridiculous Accent)”as stated in the list.
