Update (01/11/23) – JB

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the Huawei P60 line to be announced in March of this year. The information was shared on Wednesday after a quick consultation with people who work at the Chinese manufacturer.

The leaker does not even indicate an exact date for the presentation of the devices, but the DCS claims that Huawei has managed to solve some of its “biggest challenges” to launch the flagships.

That is, the prediction is basically the same as other sources: Huawei tends to return to normality in 2023 by presenting the P and Mate lines, in addition to some folding smartphones.

DCS also claims that Huawei intends to take advantage of the P60 event to announce smart watches, wireless headphones, home devices and even a smart car developed in partnership with a Chinese automaker.

For now, as expected, the manufacturer remains silent.

Huawei P60 and Mate 60: possible launch month revealed in rumor

After rumors indicate that Huawei should return to its normal launch schedule in 2023 and that the P60 and Mate 60 should hit the market with Qualcomm processorsnew sources have revealed a release forecast.

Reinforcing the information that the Huawei P60 should use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and the Mate 60 the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the new rumor indicates that the devices should be launched in the first quarter of 2023.

Thus, the most optimistic forecast indicates that we are talking about the month of marchand it is still somewhat strange for the brand to launch both lines together.

People working with Huawei also report that the devices are expected to go into mass production soon.

However, as the Chinese manufacturer has not yet commented on the matter, we emphasize that everything should be considered as just another market rumor.

Huawei P60 and Mate 60: lines should use Qualcomm processors, says rumor

Despite the various sanctions imposed by the United States, Huawei can resume a scenario of relative normality in 2023. This should make the Chinese manufacturer start working again with the Huawei P60 and Mate 60 lines.

Commenting on the matter, leaker Wangzai said that the Huawei P60 and Mate 60 families should use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processorsrespectively.

In both cases, the brand will only be able to activate the 4G connection on smartphones, since US sanctions prevent the Chinese company from launching devices with the new 5G network.

Huawei P60: Rumors suggest presence

Despite the source of the rumor saying that the P60 line will have an older processor from Qualcomm, many still believe that Huawei may change its mind and use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the models.

Some analysts add that it makes no sense for the company to use a chipset considered outdated in the first quarter of 2023.

As for the Kirin family chips, with practically zero inventory, it is very difficult for Huawei to use them in its devices. The company’s hope is to find a way to assemble its own processors without relying on US equipment.

Rumor has it that the development process is at an advanced stage, but nothing that can be released commercially yet.
