Less than a week after rumors of a breakup between Joe Jonas, 34, and Sophie Turner, 27; TMZ has made it known that the member of the Jonas Brothers has officially filed for divorce from the actress ‘Game of Thrones’ after four years of marriage.
According to the aforementioned media, Joe presented judicial documents on the morning of this Tuesday, September 5, before a court in Miami, Florida. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the singer opted for the famous celebrity lawyer, Tom Sasser, who previously represented Tiger Woods in his divorces.
They reveal the reason for the divorce: Different lifestyles
According to a source familiar with the situation, Joe Jonas made the decision to file for divorce from Sophie Turner because they had very different lifestyles, arguing that he is a man “From home”, while she a girl from “fiestas”.
“She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.” revealed the insider for TMZ.
Until now, neither Joe nor Sophie have spoken publicly about it. However, the source claims that the musician is asking for joint custody, although it is not known exactly how it could work since Sophie has previously expressed her wishes to return to England, while Joe resides in the United States.

The relationship between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner
Joe and Sophie met in 2016 thanks to a few mutual friends. Months after crossing paths, the celebrities dove into a relationship.
A year later, they announced their engagement. and, for the summer of 2019, joined marriage ties in a small ceremony held in Las Vegas.
In 2020, Joe and Sophie welcomed their first child together, Willa, while in 2022 they received their second little girl, whose identity has not yet been revealed.
