The rumors of the past few weeks are confirmed today. The Ubisoft+ on-demand game service is coming to Xbox. However, there is a slight difference with the way Ubisoft+ is integrated with PlayStation, we explain all the details.
The Ubisoft+ catalog is coming to Xbox
This is an announcement that has been long overdue since Ubisoft and Microsoft had promised the arrival of the service for over a year already. Already available on PC and PlayStation, the Ubisoft+ subscription is finally available on Xbox via the Ubisoft+ Multi Access offer.
Ubisoft+ Multi Access is a standalone subscription. This means that even if you have an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass subscription, you will need to checkout to take full advantage of the services offered and the full list of games available.
The Ubisoft+ Multi Access subscription is priced at €17.99 per month. Xbox players can subscribe online at site d’Ubisoft and know that you can also play the games in the catalog on a PC or via the Cloud.
Note that if you purchase additional games or content included in the Ubisoft+ catalog while being a subscriber, you will keep these purchases even if you cancel your subscription.
Ubisoft+ Classics is not available in Xbox Game Pass
At Sony, a selection of games from the Ubisoft+ catalog is available at no additional cost when you have an active subscription to PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium.
The bad news is that this offer, called “Ubisoft + Classics”, is not offered in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription when one could have imagined that Microsoft would offer the same principle.
Ubisoft+ Classics offers PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium players a selection of popular Ubisoft games. The catalog of available games is updated regularly as releases are made.
It’s not impossible that the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription could offer something similar in the long term, but it is not mentioned at all by Microsoft today.

Note that the Ubisoft + catalog on PC offers to play more than a hundred games, but that the Xbox catalog is only composed of 65 titles to date.
