A group of seniors say they have been without water for months, so they turned to North Alamo Water Supply for answers. However, they were unsuccessful and continue with their problem.
The drawback these people face is little or no water pressure. “We can’t do anything. We even struggle to bathe, for the toilet”said Gonzalo Torres, who lives in an Edinburg senior apartment complex and isn’t the only one in town with water issues.
The same happens to Dora García and her husband, who have had to change their routine and habits due to the nightmare they are living. Now they use disposable plates and their state of health does not allow them to handle a bucket.
“On Friday they came to bathe my husband and there was no water. On Monday they came to bathe him again and there was no water. That’s how it happens,” Dora denounced.
Tenants at the apartment complex have organized and are hoping to get the answers they haven’t received so far from North Alamo Water Supply.
Some of them even reached the offices of North Alamo Water Supply and expressed their dissatisfaction with the service they are not receiving, but no agreement was reached because they were not part of Tuesday’s work schedule. “Since they are not on the company’s agenda, we cannot talk to them here,” said Steven Sánchez, general manager of North Alamo Water Supply.
The residents tried to get an appointment to discuss their problem, but were unsuccessful.
