The uniformed police are searching for those responsible for a deadly shooting that occurred this Sunday night in the Bronx.
The police were alerted by an emergency call shortly before 11 p.m. about shots fired at 4032 Ely Avenue, in the Edenwald sector.
When they arrived at the scene they found a 29-year-old man shot in the head and another 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg.
Both were transferred to the Jacobi hospital where the death of the 29-year-old man was declared while the other remains in stable condition.
The attackers were last seen leaving the area in a gray Honda Accord, from which they would have fired the shots, according to the uniformed officer.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
