Over the weekend, a mysterious video of Ooze leaked, a game not yet announced for PS5, but what exactly is it? Let’s recap all the rumors that have emerged in the last few hours.
Ooze (codename) is described as a Sci-Fi RPG made in Unreal Engine 5 and developed by a European study in collaboration with Sony XDEVthe PlayStation team that is in charge of collaborating with the (mainly European) teams working on exclusives for the PS4 and PS5 consoles, both first and third parties.
Dusk Golem claims to know much more about this project but not being able to say anything, the famous insider in any case confirms that the leaked video is taken from a very old build. Also Dusk Golem then specifies how Ooze was not included in the document of the exclusive PlayStations in development.
The information in our possession ends here, according to some rumors the team responsible for the project would be People Can Fly, studio author of games such as Bulletstorm and Outriders, but no confirmation has come from those directly involved. Could Ooze be unveiled in the first State of Play of 2023? Rumors indicate the arrival of a PlayStation-branded event in the first months of the year and who knows that Ooze could not really be one of the protagonists of the Sony showcase.
