Artists from Lindau and Bregenz will open their studios on Saturday, January 14, 2023 and offer those interested the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of artistic productions and to talk about their work in an open discourse with the cultural workers. Bregenz galleries and art associations also take part in the “Open Studio Day” and open their exhibition rooms to visitors. The artistic diversity, the density and above all the high quality of the cultural landscape in Bregenz and Lindau should be made visible and at the same time encourage direct exchange with the artists on site.

“With the ‘Open Studio Day’, from Lindau to Bregenz, ateliers, studios and galleries of local artists are open to anyone who is interested. What I particularly like about this project is the first joint cooperation in the field of culture with the city of Lindau and the national exchange of cultural workers,” says Mayor Michael Ritsch.

City Councilor for Culture Michael Rauth is delighted: “The ‘Open Studio Day’ gives all interested parties the opportunity to enter into a dialogue with artists in their studios and not only look at their finished works, but also take a look at their creation For the first time and particularly gratifying is that this is happening across borders with the city of Lindau and should be a first step for further cooperation in the field of culture.”
