HAVANA.- The daughter and ex-wife of musician and political prisoner Maykel ‘Osorbo’ Castillo left Cuba this Monday, June 10, with destination Swiss, according to unofficial versions.
Rosmely Hernández, ex-partner of the political prisoner of the Miguel Díaz-Canel regime, expressed on social networks that she and her daughter were leaving the country.
The news was also reviewed by rapper Eliecer Márquez (El Funky), on his official website. Facebook.
“Jade, Maykel’s girl, and her mother heading to lands of freedom,” wrote El Funky.
According to the web portal CubaNet Hernández had published on social networks about his marriage to Pelli Botteli, who would have managed the trip.
“Thank you, dear God, for giving me and my daughter this great joy, thanks to my saints, my ancestors and my family who always support me, I love you very much,” were Rosmely’s farewell words, who included images of the departure.
Meanwhile, the rapper is in prison under constant violations of his physical integrity.
Maykel Osorbo, winner of the Latin Grammy in 2021 for Best Urban Song and Song of the Year for Patria y Vida, was arrested by State Security two months before the anti-government protests of July 11 and 12, 2021.
In a trial held behind closed doors on May 30 and 31, 2022, the dissident was convicted by the Popular Municipal Court of Marianao for the alleged crimes of contempt, attack, public disorder and defamation of institutions and organizations, heroes and martyrs
