SCO Angers’ Azzedine Ounahi caught the eye of some clubs with Morocco at the World Cup. As the midfielder confirms on the club’s website, he is currently dealing with a transfer: “Today we all know that there are interested clubs. It’s going to be a decision I have to make, a decision that will be important for my career.” The 22-year-old is still under contract with the French first division club until 2026.
Among others, Leicester City, OSC Lille, AC Fiorentina and SSC Napoli recently showed interest in Ounahi. But there will be no quick fix: “I’ll wait for the next few days and weeks to make the right decision. I am in contact with the President every day. We will make the right choice for my career and for the club.” The most important thing for the Shooting Star is the perspective: “I don’t have a favorite championship, I don’t have an ideal goal, I’m mainly looking at the sporting project.”
