At the job fair, which was held again on site at the FHV campus in Dornbirn – after two online editions – a great deal of interest was again recorded.

The largest job marketplace in the region was organized jointly by FHV – Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, Federation of Austrian Industries Vorarlberg (IV), Opportunities Land Vorarlberg and Vorarlberger Nachrichten. Around 1,900 visitors found out about more than 1,000 career opportunities from the 100 exhibiting employers from industry, business and social institutions on Friday.

Opening with positive messages

Numerous decision-makers from politics and business also got an idea of ​​the current labor market situation and the diversity of the Vorarlberg location. The official opening of the job fair was attended by, among others, Governor Markus Wallner, President of the State Parliament Harald Sonderegger and other representatives from politics and business.

The job fair took place on Friday for the 15th time. There were 100 exhibitors presenting themselves and their career opportunities. This number is back to the level it was before the pandemic. In addition to large companies such as Rauch Fruchtsäfte, Hilti, Meusburger, Blum, Doppelmayr, Bachmann electronic, Liebherr, Zumtobel, Alpla, Hirschmann Automotive, Gebrüder Weiss, Rhomberg Bau, illwerke vkw, Getzner, Haberkorn and Russmedia, numerous small and medium-sized companies and social facilities (aqua mill, life support, etc.) and institutions such as the local police headquarters.
