Pablo Javkin and Maximiliano Pullaro put together a campaign focused on security

All united we will triumph. Far, very far from the Peronist march, the phrase in this case summarizes the main idea of the agreement they reached Maximiliano Pullaro and Pablo Javkin to walk together during the short campaign that lies ahead before the election on September 10. Next month the political future of Santa Fe will be defined and the candidates for the governorship and mayorship of Rosario sat down ten days ago to have a coffee, ironed out differences, discussed the most pressing issues of a possible common government agenda and resolved to walk together showing all the colors of United to Change Santa Fe.

The idea is that in any activity they share they are accompanied not only by the leaders of radicalism or Creo, the spaces to which each one belongs. Also, the socialists and those of the PRO. “The strategy is to show all the nuances” of the Front of Fronts, according to one of the men who walks the campaign with Pullaro.

That agreement includes Clara Garciathe head of the United list for the Chamber of Deputies that will compete against the governor Omar Perotti. But he also joins the councilors. Thus, Maria Eugenia Schmuck, Federico Lifschitz and Susana Rueda they already work on a campaign committee for City Council candidates.

The distance that Pullaro and Javkin had in the recent past, spurred on by the ups and downs of the PASO, were left behind, they say on both sides. Pullaro put to play Miguel Tessandori as his candidate for mayor and criticized the current management. Javkin bet on the province for Carolina Losada, although he avoided in public accompanying the harsh denunciations of the journalist against the former minister. After July 16, with the results of the internship closed, they began to work on a necessary rapprochement.

Last week, prior to the national internship, they shared a photo with Horacio Rodriguez Larreta at the meeting of the Argentine Association of Direct Planting Producers (Apreesid). Three days later, and already in a move with an exclusive local flavor, they walked through one of the most important commercial corridors in Rosario: San Luis street. In that move they were accompanied by Clara García.

A few days before they had shared a coffee and talked a lot about security, an issue that afflicts Rosario and that Pullaro knows about after managing the portfolio in charge of these issues during the four years of the Government of Michael Lifschitz.

Security and public order were two of the axes. The radical spoke to him about a minimum of 180 patrolmen per shift, about improving preventive action with complex criminal investigations and about tighter control in prisons, from where the crime operates.

A concern they shared: the marked increase in extortion. They also talked about other actions that the State must take in the neighborhoods to reduce conflict and violence. They agreed to share tours and campaign spots.

The meeting was, as described by witnesses, “very friendly.” They were, among others, Luis Persello and Sebastian Chalein charge of managing the campaigns of Pullaro and Javkin.

“We are part of different spaces, we are not the same, we have our differences, but we understand that the process that is coming at the provincial level needs governments made up of leaders who know each other, who think alike on many issues and who can coordinate better because they know each other. , because there is more dialogue”, raised one of those who shared that round of coffee between the candidates.

Santa Fe will elect its representatives on September 10. In the United States they are very clear that the campaign will be short, barely twenty days. But that, in addition, there is a certain exhaustion in the electorate. That is why they believe that they should optimize time and actions. One way to do it, they understood, was to quickly close any differences between its main members.
